Community Supports Saints Healthcare Foundation’s
"Spirit of St. Francis" 2011 Gala
Individuals, community leaders and area businesses came together Saturday, November 12th to support the Saints Healthcare Foundation’s second annual "Spirit of St. Francis" gala at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska. Gala attendees help to raise more than $175,000, including $58,000 in services and in-kind donations, to benefit the Foundation's Cancer Care Fund.
The gala was emceed by Ken Barlow, Eyewitness News KSTP meteorologist and featured a reception with silent auction, elegant dinner followed by a brief program including the presentation of the Physician Touchstone Award and New Physician Award, live auction and concluding the evening with dancing to the sounds of The Sevilles.
This year's prestigious Physician Touchstone Award, which recognizes a physician who has made a tremendous impact at St. Francis through both their leadership and clinical excellence, was proudly presented to Dr. David Druckman, OB/GYN, Park Nicollet. Received the New Physician Award was Dr. Loree Ochs, Director of the St. Francis Cancer Center.
