St. Gertrude's expansion completed
St. Gertrude’ rehabilitation expansion is completed and additional patients are now being served in their community. A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration was held on Thursday October 13th with over 300 community members attending.

October was an exciting month as the new patient rooms opened and the therapy area began serving additional patients through inpatient and outpatient services. The thirty new patient rooms include private baths with showers and a ceiling track. There are rooms to serve the bariatric patients and a new Circle of Life suite will be open in December.
The Therapy and Wellness Center includes a therapy pool, HUR Fitness equipment, a therapeutic kitchen, private treatment rooms and Wii. In addition medical massage and complete decongestive therapy for the treatment of lymphedema and edema conditions has been added to the care services at St. Gertrude’s.
