Foundation Volunteers

A new partnership with community volunteers

Volunteers are the lifeline of nonprofit organizations–they form an army of engaged foot soldiers who carry important messages to and from the community to help shape and guide a dynamic service organization. Saints Healthcare Foundation has been busy assembling a volunteer network of community and business leaders to spark its own philanthropic momentum.

Foundation's volunteer opportunities

Each of the Foundation’s 7 committees is led by a Foundation board member and has between eight and ten community volunteers serving as members, as well.

Annual Support Committee: Advises and supports implementation of the foundation's annual giving progam, including the gala event. Annually raises appoximately $500,000.
Chair: Cindy Anderson, American Solutions for Business, Chaska
Business Relations Committee: Adivses and culitivates local business donors through various education, advocacy and the golf event. Annually raises appoximately $80,000.
Chair: Steve Snider, Community Member, Lakeville
Community Relations Committee: Educates community about Saints Foundation, St. Francis and St. Gertrude's to increase awareness of services, community impact and likelihood to provide resource support.
Chair: Barb Danielson, Proforma Print Dynamix, Shakopee
Legacy Gifts Committee: Plans and implements program to attract estate and other legacy gifts.
Chair: Deb Erickson, Financial Network, Savage
Major Gifts Committee: Plans and implements a program to attract gifts ranging from $10,000 to $1 million+ that support large scale service, program or facility expansions and enhancements at St. Francis and St. Gertrude's.
Chair: Julie Welch, Community Member, Prior Lake
St. Francis Employee Giving Committee: Plans and implements activities that educate on foundation impacts and priorities for St. Francis, in to increasing employee giving.
Chair: Michael Theisen, St. Francis employee, Shakopee
St. Gertrude's Employee Giving Committee: Plans and implements activities that educate on foundation impacts and priorities for St. Gertrude's, in addition to increasing employee giving.
Chair: Rachelle Herman, St. Gertrude's employee, Shakopee
